Tottenham Hotspur haven’t been in great form over their last two games. The Lilywhites were well beaten by Liverpool at Wembley despite the 2-1 scoreline making it look like it might have been close. Now, though, it’s a trip to Italy and Inter Milan will be tough to beat.

Spurs succumbed to Italian opposition in the Champions League last season with Juventus edging them out across two legs in the round of sixteen. During the away leg Mauricio Pochettino’s side did so well to avoid defeat as they came back from two goals down to draw 2-2. The fans will be hoping for a win at The San Siro to end their current run of misery that has seen them lose consecutive games against Watford and Liverpool.
The level of performance in Italy will have to be much much better than what it was at Wembley over the weekend. The Lilywhites imply didn’t turn up and when the level of performance is as low as it there’s no way you’re going to claim all three points. Tottenham have enjoyed success at the San Siro previously, having edged out Inter over two legs in the Europa League in 2013 and AC Milan in the Champions league in 2011.

If we play like Saturday we won’t even get out of the group.

The fans are understandably nervous for this huge crunch match against Inter and will be hoping to get a win and put the Liverpool loss behind them.
