Christian Eriksen could miss Tottenham Hotspur’s match against Watford with a dead leg picked up during his time with Denmark, as reported on the club’s official channels.
This comes after he played 135 minutes for his country during the international break, lasting the whole of the 1-0 win in the Euro 2020 qualifier against Switzerland and 45 minutes in the 4-0 friendly win over Luxembourg, as per Transfermarkt:

Many Spurs fans were already annoyed with Eriksen when he came up with the vital assist for Denmark against the Swiss, with one calling him a “mercenary snake”, as they feel he is not putting in as much effort in North London.
So the fact he now may not be available when it comes to representing Spurs has only added to the frustration many are feeling towards him.
A selection of Twitter reaction to the update, including posts from frustrated Spurs fans, can be seen below:
He would have a dead leg when it comes to spurs. Dont play him again!! We dont need his mediocre abd half hearted performances!
