The Blues skipper has been sensational this season and it seems that a new contract is just a formality, with manager Jose Mourinho singing his praises – and after seeing how the 34-year-old has actually improved compared to last season, we can understand why.
Terry looks like he can play on for a few more seasons and has been one of the best players for the west London side this term – and there is no doubt without him, Mourinho’s men would struggle at the back.
Terry was pretty good last season – but this term he has stepped it up a gear and we can only imagine how many clean sheets the Blues would keep next season if he improves again!
