Manchester United fans here in the Tavern aren’t a happy bunch after a series of draws, with the last one coming during the 1-1 result against Everton earlier this week.
Jose Mourinho is slowly starting to feel the pressure at Old Trafford and if he can’t start pulling some wins together, his team might as well say goodbye to any chances of securing Champions League football next season.
It’s been a tough campaign for the Portuguese gaffer, who is used to mixing it at the top in all of his previous managerial roles but this time around, it’s going to take him time to build the United side that he really wants.
And for some players, they’ve only got a handful of games left to prove themselves after some shoddy performances in the past few weeks.
So after a good chat with the landlord and having decided which players he wants to see pull up their socks, here’s the 2 United men we think need to really pull it out between now and the end of the season…
Anthony Martial

Anthony Martial hasn’t come anywhere near to the good form we saw from him last season and he’s one that’s going to have to really start working if he’s to remain at the club next season.
Mourinho will undoubtedly have his own targets when the summer transfer window eventually rolls around and Martial’s inconsistent goalscoring means he might be one that is axed, if he doesn’t prove himself between now and the end of the season.
Luke Shaw

So often publicly criticised by Jose Mourinho, the England international is surely running out of time to save his career at Old Trafford. Though so much was expected of him when he initially arrived from Southampton in 2014, the horrific double leg break he suffered in 2015 has seemingly derailed his progress.
Clearly a talented prospect, Shaw could be heading for an exit should he fail to have much impact.
