Queens Park Rangers are currently searching for a new manager following the sacking of Chris Ramsey and it would appear they are casting their net a little bit wider as their search rumbles on.
Stubbs’ Hibs side are currently second in the Scottish Championship, a place behind Rangers and the ex-Everton central defender is being considered for the vacant role at Loftus Road.
This has got the R’s supporting punters in the Transfer Tavern choking on their pork scratchings, with one brandishing the news ‘a complete disgrace.’
The landlord in the Tavern is equally brash in dismissing Stubbs and said: “It would be a terrible move for Queens Park Rangers to appoint him.
“They need some stability and an experienced head. They have gone down the route of an untried, younger manager and it has failed miserably. An older head is required.”
