A lot of QPR fans are praising the performance of 20-year-old Bright Osayi-Samuel, after his side beat Bristol Rovers in the League Cup at Loftus Road yesterday.
The striker opened the scoring on four minutes and looked threatening throughout the match, as he was easily The Rs’ best player.
The only criticism of the youngster is that he could have scored more on the day. However, his side ran out comfortable 3-1 winners.
It was QPR’s second win in a row after a torrid start to their season. Despite only one win in the Championship, Steve McClaren’s men are now in round three of the League Cup after two wins, after beating Peterborough two weeks ago.
Osayi-Samuel has barely featured for The Hoops in the league this season, but his performance yesterday will do him no harm in his pursuit of a starting berth.
