The managerial merry-go-round is in full flow and Chris Ramsey became the latest Championship manager to fall by the wayside this week when he was handed his p45 by Queens Park Rangers.
The R’s supporting punters in the Transfer Tavern are quietly enjoying a game of cards, whilst sampling a pint of the landlords best and a packet of cheese and onion, when they come across some intriguing news that suggest a club legend could be set to return.
Ian Holloway is the name being branded around by Get West London, as a possible predecessor to Ramsey, following a previous spell in charge of the club between 2001 and 2006.
During his previous spell at the club Holloway took Rangers from the doldrums of League One and turned them into a stable Championship club and his reappointment would prove a popular choice among the club’s supporters.
The Championship club are in the bottom half of the league and whoever does take the role will need to hit the ground running to ensure the club climbs the table.
