Rangers: Fans delighted by Greg Stewart’s cameo vs Hearts

Lots of Rangers fans have been reacting to their impressive win over Hearts, with plenty reserving special praise for substitute Greg Stewart.

The Gers moved back level with Celtic on points after the Hoops won earlier on Sunday, with both teams winning in typically dominant fashion.

Steven Gerrard’s side went one better than their rivals though and scored five goals while also keeping a clean sheet, with Stewart making a massive impact off the bench.

Goals from Alfredo Morelos, Ryan Kent and a Christophe Berra own goal wrapped up the three points for the Gers, before Stewart bagged a brace from the bench.

The 29 year-old had one goal and four assists this campaign before Sunday’s action, and added two strikes to that tally within just 11 minutes of entering the fray.

Fans are delighted with his display, with some even calling for him to be introduced into the starting line-up.

Surely Greg Stewart starts against aberdeen on Wednesday. Offers far more than Ojo and works well (if you’re going to rest Morelos) with Defoe and Arfield
