Lots of Rangers fans are gushing over a post from the official UEFA Europa League Twitter account, as they celebrated the European form of Alfredo Morelos.
Say what you want about El Bufalo, but the Rangers star knows how to stick the ball in the back of the net. With 77 goals in 132 Gers appearances, it’s hardly a surprise he has been prolific in Europe, but the numbers behind his Europa League displays this season are truly incredible.
Per UEFA’s official site, the 23 year-old became the first player ever to score 14 goals before Christmas in a European campaign, also providing four assists. He only needs four more goals in this campaign to move level with Radamel Falcao for the most goals ever in a European campaign, and fans were drooling over a tweet from the Europa League’s Twitter account.
