Rangers stormed to a 5-0 victory over Aberdeen at Ibrox on Saturday afternoon, with Greg Stewart’s goal as one moment that caught the attention of many of their supporters on Twitter.

The former Don was given a starting chance in Steven Gerrard’s side and played his role in helping the Light Blues to capitalise on Old Firm rivals Celtic’s slip-up earlier in the day and close the gap to one point at the top of the Scottish Premiership table (BBC).
A brace from James Tavernier (who netted both of his from the penalty spot), Stewart, Alfredo Morelos and Jermain Defoe ensured they did enough to get all three points on the day.
The 29-year-old has had to remain patient for his chance with his new employers, having made just seven appearances prior to this weekend’s meeting (Transfermarkt).
Indeed, Stewart appeared to grab his opportunity with both hands and it would seem a number of Rangers fans were hardly surprised to see him do so well against his former club.
Some of the supporters stated that they knew something like this would happen, whilst others were hugely impressed with his contribution before the first half had even come to a close.
Here are just some of their reactions…
Had to be the main man

He’s a shout for MoTM in my opinion. Looking so unselfish.
