Glasgow Rangers have had some wonderful players down the years, but very few of them can compare to Denmark and Gers legend Brian Laudrup.
By the time the midfielder arrived at Ibrox in 1994 for £2.5m, he already had an illustrious career, appearing for AC Milan, Bayern Munich and Fiorentina, whilst also helping his country to win the 1992 European Championships, the only piece of silverware the Scandinavian nation have ever won.
With the Gers, though, he arguably got even better. He scored 40+ goals in over 150 matches for the 54-time Scottish champions, helping them win the Premiership on three occasions as well as one Scottish Cup and one Scottish League Cup. By the time he left for Chelsea in 1998, he had already found his way into the hearts of the fans.
Is Brian Laudrup the best player you have seen play for Rangers?
On Saturday, the Gers’ official Twitter account shared a video of him scoring against Celtic, and it lead to him being praised by the club’s supporters.
Let’s see what the fans had to say about Laudrup
