Glasgow Rangers: Fans hammer Ianis Hagi

Glasgow Rangers and Steven Gerrard could not have wished for a better start to their Premiership season.
The Gers currently have six points from their opening two matches following wins against Aberdeen and St. Mirren – they prevailed 1-0 and 3-0 respectively – and the Ibrox outfit already find themselves two points ahead of their fierce city rivals Celtic.
The 54-time Scottish champions’ supporters have been able to see several of their new signings in action, with the likes of Leon Balogun, Cedric Itten and Jon McLaughlin playing against St. Mirren. Ianis Hagi, who recently joined permanently from Genk for the fee of £3m, also featured, but it appears the club’s fans weren’t too happy with his display at all.
Have you been disappointed with Hagi so far?
Yes

No

They were quick to share their displeasure with his showing, and they took to Twitter to share their thoughts on the 21-year-old Romania international. Indeed, he failed to score or provide an assist in the game, whilst only two of his five shots were on target and none of his four attempted crosses were successful (WhoScored).

Concerned that we’ve paid waaaaayyy over the odds for Hagi and Kent. Both very poor and don’t look is if they’ll contribute the 30 goals needed between them to win a title.

Much prefer the crowd noises. dunno why it got turned off. also hate the 5 sub system.
Feels like a preseason game.
Happy with performance. Kent and Hagi been disappointing. Need to see more of them and more brutal in final third.
It will come as season goes on I feel.

Get Itten on.
The same players are doing exactly the same things that they did last season. Goalkeeper and Balogun apart it’s really no surprise the play is identical. Hagi regressed also.
