Glasgow Rangers continued their fantastic early season form against Dundee United on Saturday.
The ‘Gers went into the game having won five and drawn one of their first six matches, and they have now prevailed in six clashes after beating the Tangerines. Kemar Roofe, Ryan Kent, James Tavernier and Scott Arfield were all on the scoresheet as the Ibrox outfit won 4-0, continuing their record of not conceding a goal this term and remaining on top of the Premiership pile.

However, it wasn’t all plain sailing for the ‘Gers as they were hit by a number of injuries, with Leon Balogun picking up a problem in the warm-up and Alfredo Morelos, Ryan Jack and Brandon Barker all being forced off. The former needed to be subbed following a poor tackle from Liam Smith, yet the latter was not sent-off despite the knee-high challenge.

This, and a number of other decisions from referee Kevin Clancy, incurred the wrath of many ‘Gers supporters and they took to Twitter to share their anger at an official with whom they have had problems in the past. You can see some of the best comments from the social media platform below:

How that guy didn’t even get booked for cutting Alredo open is beyond me. Was more interested in speaking to Barasic for sticking up for his teammate after a shocker. Clancy is a grade A cheat.

How can he be our ref at home two matches in a row. Lets hope we do not see him for a long time. I can see him getting the 1st old firm game to make up for no crowd. He is a dangerous cheat. Teams no they can kick our players and make crazy tackles and he will do nothing.
