Rangers: European club ‘ready to bid again’ for Glen Kamara -Rangers News

A European club are reportedly now ‘ready to bid again’ for Glasgow Rangers central midfielder Glen Kamara.

The Lowdown: Another exit?

The Ibrox outfit have already lost two high-profile players so this summer, with Joe Aribo moving to Southampton and Calvin Bassey signing for Ajax.

Having reached the UEFA Europa League final last season, a lot of Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s squad will be on the radar of some top European clubs, and the Gers need to do their best to keep hold of them.

The Latest: Bid readied

Taking to Twitter, transfer expert Graeme Bailey has revealed that 22-time Turkish league champions Galatasaray are now ‘ready to bid again’ for Kamara, while Nottingham Forest, Marseille and Salernitana are also thought to be interested in his signature:

“Serie A side Salernitana join Glen Kamara chase.

“Galatasaray ready to big again whilst Marseille are also looking at this situation.

“Also Premier League clubs, including Nottingham Forest, who have checked on him.”

Expanding in his latest piece for 90min, Bailey added that Galatasaray have already bid twice for Kamara, but have fell short of the Light Blues’ £10m valuation.

RB Leipzig and Eintracht Frankfurt, who the Teddy Bears lost to in the Europa League final, are also monitoring his situation.

Rangers fans! Do you remember who scored your first league goal of the 21/22 season?

The Verdict: Keep!

If RFC are to beat Celtic to the Scottish Premiership title and achieve their goals this term, then they simply need to keep hold of Kamara.

Once dubbed a ‘Rolls Royce’ by former manager Steven Gerrard, the Finland international racked up a mammoth 52 appearances in all competitions in the last campaign, scoring four goals and supplying a further five assists from the middle of the park (Transfermarkt).

Nonetheless, with Aribo gone, it would leave a big hole in midfield, which would not be easy to replace.
