Speaking to Football Insider, talkSPORT regular Gabriel Agbonlahor has reacted to the ‘massive’ development that Gers star Ryan Jack could be missing for Rangers as they prepare to take on arch-rivals Celtic at Ibrox – in what may turn out to be a ‘big blow‘ for Steven Gerrard.
Jack, who can be a crucial component of the Rangers team when available, hasn’t featured since coming off against Hibernian with an ankle injury – and he could miss the Old Firm as Glasgow Rangers had to cope without his influence against St. Mirren this afternoon.
Agbonlahor reacts to ‘massive’ Rangers news
Agbonlahor, speaking to Football Insider, has claimed it is ‘massive news’ that Jack could miss out on a crucial clash against Celtic at the beginning of January – coming after Noel Whelan described his absence from the team as a ‘big blow’ to Rangers at any point.
“It’s massive news,” explained the pundit.
“This sort of game Steven Gerrard will want his best squad to choose from because he knows it’s going to be tough.
“Even though Rangers are top at the moment Steven Gerrard knows a game against Celtic is always tough no matter what the teams are.
