Glasgow Rangers fans were far from happy with the performance of Leon Balogun despite their progression to the Europa League round of 16 on Thursday.

The Gers prevailed in another thriller against Royal Antwerp to make it to the next stage of the competition. After beating their Belgian opponents 4-3 away from home last week, they won 5-2 at Ibrox to eventually triumph 9-5 on aggregate.

With James Tavernier out injured, Steven Gerrard decided to play Balogun at right-back. It was clear he was unfamiliar with the position and Jordan Lukaku caused him all kind of problems. He was replace at half-time by Nathan Patterson - the 19-year-old scored within a minute and the Gers won the second-half 4-1.

The Gers fans were far from happy with the display of Balogun, and they took to social media platform Twitter to share their thoughts.
