Glasgow Rangers fans have let rip at Jordan Jones after he completed a loan move to Sunderland in League One.
The 26-year-old has moved to the Black Cats on a temporary basis after failing to make an impact at Ibrox this term. It looked like he may have a chance of playing an important role for the Gers after scoring against Motherwell in a 5-1 win, but he found himself as an outcast after he was banned for seven games for breaking coronavirus regulations to attend a house party (BBC).
Are you happy with Jones' departure?
With nine caps for Northern Ireland, the Gers clearly saw enough to take him to Ibrox from Kilmarnock, but one goal in 19 matches (Transfermarkt) is not good enough. The club confirmed his departure on Twitter, and the Gers supporters took to the social media platform to share their thoughts on the winger.
Let’s see what the fans had to say about Jones below
“”Massive club”.. you were at the biggest club in the world he’ll ever play for. His attitude is the reason why he’s out the door. Thought he’d made it once he signed but that’s when he needed tae knuckle down and work harder, not going out partying. Good bye big head.”
“He definitely has the ability to play for Rangers but his attitude is nowhere near what Gerrard is looking for. No one to blame but himself. Shame as he won’t get a bigger stage to perform on”
“Correct , absolute waste of a wage”
“The boys a waster . Lived the dream an made complete an utter mess eh it”
“Good luck at Sunderland but good riddance, worst attitude in Scottish football”
