Rangers: Fans react to Nikola Katic video
Glasgow Rangers fans have been reacting to a video of central defender Nikola Katic scoring for the club.
While it has been a fantastic campaign for the Gers this term, Croatian Katic has not been able to enjoy their success. An injury sustained in pre-season (BBC) means that he has not played a single minute in any competition this term (Transfermarkt), and he is only now approaching a return to the action.
The £1.44m-valued 24-year-old (Transfermarkt) was an important player for Steven Gerrard last time out, playing in 19 of the Ibrox outfit’s 29 Premiership games. He is a popular figure amongst the club’s supporters as well, if the responses to a video shared by the club’s official Twitter account are anything to go by. The clip shows him netting against Midtjylland in the Europa League.
