Glasgow Rangers fans are far from happy after it was confirmed Willie Collum will be the referee for the Old Firm derby next weekend.

The Gers' status as Premiership champions was confirmed after Celtic drew 0-0 with Dundee United last Sunday. As such, the derby next weekend is something of a dead rubber - the Ibrox outfit obviously can't be caught and Celtic are all but guaranteed to finish a distant second.

However, the 55-time Scottish champions have a chance of going the campaign unbeaten (Sky Sports), and every Old Firm clash is a tense affair. As such, the decision to appoint Willie Collum as the referee for the clash has not gone down too well with the fans. The Gers have had issues with the official in the past (The Daily Record).

The news was shared on Twitter by Clyde 1 Superscoreboard, and the fans took to the social media platform to share their thoughts.
