As per The Herald Scotland, Glasgow Rangers’ Greg Docherty is set to move to Hull City for the fee of £400,000.

Steven Gerrard has already said that Docherty can leave Ibrox as long as the Gers receive a good enough offer for the midfielder.

It now looks as if Hull will provide that bid, as the 23-year-old is reported to have agreed personal terms with the Yorkshire outfit.

It is actually surprising that Gerrard has been so resistant to giving Docherty a chance with the 54-time Scottish champions – his recent form suggests he could still provide a creative spark for the club. He managed three assists in six matches in the first half of last term for the Gers, whilst he then scored three and created a further five in seven games on loan at Hibernian.

Incredibly, after signing from Hamilton for £671,000, the Gers are set to make a 40.4% loss on the youngster. Gerrard will be hoping this is a decision he does not regret.
