According to Give Me Sport, Glasgow Rangers are open to offers for Romania international Ianis Hagi this summer.

The Lowdown: Gers kick off season

The Gers' season has already kicked off, with the Ibrox outfit beating Livingston in their opening game of the Premiership 3-0 before losing 2-1 to Malmo in the first leg of their Champions League third qualifying round tie.

Hagi opened the scoring in that first league match, but now there has been an update on the 22-year-old's future.

The Latest: Gers open to Hagi offers

As per this latest report, the Gers are open to selling Hagi this summer.

They mentioned the former Genk man alongside Alfredo Morelos as players who could be moved on this summer for the right price.

The Verdict: Keep him

Hagi had a somewhat mixed season last time out. In 45 matches in all competitions, he scored eight goals and provided 15 assists (Transfermarkt) - he now has 17 of the latter throughout his Gers career. That is far from a poor return, but he also came in for criticism from some fans over a few poor performances (Football FanCast).

Still, he has started the new campaign well with a goal in that opening Premiership match and, earlier this year, Steven Gerrard called him "an absolute dream" to have at the club (The Scottish Sun).

Valued at £5.85m by Transfermarkt, there is no reason why the Gers couldn't demand a considerable fee for Hagi, but it feels like he still has plenty more to give to the 55-time Scottish champions before moving on. Hopefully, he will still be at Ibrox come the end of the transfer window.

In other news, this Rangers man is on the verge of a move away from the club.
