Excitement is in the air in the Transfer Tavern tonight as the Man United fans eagerly anticipate their next big signing.

Although seemingly unlikely, Alvaro Morata has been linked with a move to Manchester United for a similar amount of time that he has been to Chelsea.

While it seems that Lukaku will move to Old Trafford, United fans must be drooling at the thought of their potential front three next season being Rashford, Morata and Lukaku.

That’s the sort of front three that can win a Premier League title and, if that does eventually become their front line, that is exactly what they should be aiming for.

Granted, Lukaku looks the more likely to join and as much as United like spending money, it’s doubtful they will spend around £200 million on two players in the same position.

For speculation’s sake though, here are two reasons why that potential trio should have Manchester United fans dreaming of the Premier League title.

Goals, goals, goals

Simply put, these three forwards have all got bags of goals in them.

Rashford has proven that despite his young age, he has the ability to score goals at the highest level of English football. Whilst Lukaku has been doing just that for years now at Everton, netting 26 times last season and Morata has lined up and scored for the likes of Real Madrid and Juventus.

You can’t ask for much more than that really.

One has the experience, they all have the drive

Undoubtedly, Morata has experience at the highest level of club football.

At just 24 he has already won two Champions Leagues, two La Liga’s, two Spanish Cups, two Serie A’s and two Italian Cups.

Bringing that experience to United could prove crucial to the Red Devils’ success next year and Lukaku and Rashford have the drive a determination to prove that they can compete at that level too.

Lukaku has been ready for this position for years now and Rashford, whilst he may not be completely ready has definitely proven that he can be a worthy player to have in your starting 11.
