Liverpool: Fans desperate to sign Milot Rashica

Timo Werner (SPORT via Sport Witness) is not the only Bundesliga talent with whom Liverpool have been linked in recent weeks and months.

Kai Havertz (Kicker via Manuel Veth) is the other one that first comes to mind, whilst Jadon Sancho has also been linked with a switch to the Anfield outfit. However, it is now another name that appears to be grabbing the headlines in regards to a transfer to the European champions.

That man is Milot Rashica. The Kosovo international has been playing for Werder Bremen this campaign, who have been struggling in the Bundesliga – they are currently 17th and in the relegation zone. The 23-year-old, though, has been one of the very few bright sparks for the side, with him managing 10 goals and five assists in 24 matches in all competitions.

According to Bild (via The Daily Star), he is almost certain to leave the German outfit this summer. They are reporting that he has a €38m (£33m) release clause, which will drop to €18m (£16m) if they get relegated, but that will only last until 15 June.
