Manchester United: Red Devils fans react to Jadon Sancho transfer update via Fabrizio Romano

According to Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United have been working on an agreement with Jadon Sancho’s agent for the last two months. Unsurprisingly, this latest update has sent many Red Devils crazy.

Speaking on an Instagram live stream with 433, Romano claimed United are confident they can push a contract over the line for the 20-year-old after managing to keep in contact with his agent since the beginning of the year, despite the recent difficulties.

Since moving to Germany from Manchester City for just £7.05m back in 2017, Sancho has enjoyed a prolific spell with Borussia Dortmund, bagging 14 goals and creating 15 assists in 23 appearances in the Bundesliga this season (WhoScored).

The talented youngster has already won 11 caps for the England national team and scored 2 goals so far (EnglandStats).

Naturally, Sancho’s eye-catching performances have caught the attention of numerous European giants including Premier League rivals Chelsea.

However, it appears Blues boss Frank Lampard has been edged out by Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in the race to sign the winger, as it seems like Sancho could favour a return to Manchester over a move to Stamford Bridge.
