Liverpool and their fans probably can’t wait to get the season started again.
The Reds are currently two wins and six points away from confirming their status as Premier League champions as they hold a 25-point lead at the top of the table. They really are within touching distance of getting their hands on the trophy for the first time in 30 years.

However, the current pandemic has seen the season suspended, and there had been no real indication of when the term would restart. However, that has all changed if an article from The Times is to be believed. They say that “Project Restart” would see training begin on May 12th, contact training on May 25th and games on June 12th, with the term to end on July 27th.

Way too ambitious IMO, should push the start of training back by a week or 2. https://t.co/ZI68rUCF1M

Seems sensible at this point based on current stat of affairs and the decline of the hospital intakes . Things can change but at the moment a sensible date line

There are too many teams who gain from season being abandoned so expect players and teams to make this impossible
