Liverpool fans will be more desperate than most to see the end of the Premier League season played out.
The Reds are within six points and two wins of confirming their status as champions of England’s top tier as they currently hold a 25-point lead at the top of the table. Before the coronavirus pandemic stopped the season, it was a matter of when and not if they would finish the job, but developments over the last few weeks have thrown that into some doubt.

There has been a slew of positive news in recent days, though. Firstly, it was revealed that football could resume from 1 June and now Liverpool reporter Dave O’Connell has provided another update. On Thursday, he confirmed that Jurgen Klopp had returned to Melwood to start preparations for the resumption of the season.
