The Whites will be looking to improve upon last season’s abysmal campaign and the locals will feel that a number of additions, as well as departures, will be needed at Elland Road this summer if they are to challenge for a spot in the Premier League.
One area that the club need to improve is in the goalkeeping department, following the departure of Felix Wiedwald, however, it looks as though Leeds have hit a brick wall when it comes to one of their potential targets.
According to a report in the Birmingham Mail, the Whites are interested in Birmingham City’s David Stockdale and have made an offer to sign him. However, it has also been claimed that the bid they made was short of the Blues’ valuation for the experienced professional.

The Whites in the Tavern will be delighted that the club are looking to sort out one of their problem areas with an experienced acquisition and will be hoping they can get a deal completed for Stockdale in the coming weeks.
The goalkeeper has plenty of experience playing in the Championship and has also tasted promotion success during his time with Brighton and Hove Albion, so the 32-year-old would certainly help aid the development of Bailey Peacock-Farrell as well.
