Revealed: 68% Liverpool fans want to see Klopp favourite replaced with big money transfer swoop

Reds fans here in the Tavern are optimistic about the chances of seeing one of Europe’s stars make their way to Anfield. Liverpool have had a fairly average start to the season by their standards, with the same-old stupid defensive mistakes costing them a climb up the ladder. But for a perfectionist like Jurgen Klopp, he will be keen to iron out those mistakes with a few more additions as the January transfer window edges ever-closer.

A huge roar of excitement could be heard all around the red side of Merseyside, filtering through to here in the pub, after reports in the Liverpool Echo suggested that Liverpool could be set to land Borrusia Dortmund’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in January.

With a potential re-creation of the Luis Suarez effect at Anfield, surely they won’t hesitate?

Indeed, it was no great surprise that the Kopites here in the Tavern were all delighted with the news causing smug faces to paint a picture on every bar-stool here in the pub.

Our Landlord already knew Reds fans here at the pub wanted to see the Gabon international, so decided to chuck-up a vote for the supporters here in the Tavern to decide upon whether acquiring the services of Aubameyang would actually be needed, with Roberto Firmino already in the side.

Resulting in a whopping 68% of supporters voting in favour of the potential talents that Aubameyang could bring, they’re obviously more highly thought of than the services that Firmino already offers.

There isn’t a great sense of shock about this one, having already accumulated an astounding 17 goals in 19 appearances this season, has put him in amongst Europe’s elite. In an attack already heavily reliant on the pace of Mohamed Salah, adding another electrifying forward to the fray could just perfect the forward-line.

With Firmino not always becoming reliant on the goal-front, Aubameyang could hold the answer to their prayers, with Scousers here, there and everywhere urging the deal to go through.
