Liverpool fans here in the Football Transfer Tavern are still lamenting the fact they narrowly missed out to Chelsea in successfully reaching the Capital One Cup Final last night but there is another thing bothering them.
As one of our regulars notes, they are simply desperate to get Daniel Sturidge back in the team and after his long-term absence, not to mention the likes of Mario Balotelli failing rather comprehensively in his absence, we can fully understand why.
It is obvious that whilst losing Luis Suarez hit the Reds hard, they have also been dealt the huge blow of having to cope without their other part of the so-called ‘SAS’.
However, all their troubles may well be in the past if this latest image is anything to go by. It seems Sturridge is now in perfect shape to go all out and help the Reds secure Champions League qualification for next season!
