Manchester United made arguably the biggest signing of the summer in England when they splashed out over £70m on Everton and Belgium star Romelu Lukaku.
The big striker had been a man in demand, but moved to Old Trafford and appears to have already made a seamless transition into being one of the main men for United, with three goals from his opening three games in a United shirt.
Our landlord here in the Transfer Tavern has been keeping a close eye on Lukaku over the international break, and once again he has been smashing the goals in, with four over the two games his country has played.
It is this continued form which has got our gaffer thinking that September could continue to be a massive month for the big forward. Home games with Crystal Palace and Everton will appeal to Lukaku, while away trips to Stoke City and Southampton will do nothing to dampen his spirits in his quest for goals.
United have already made a superb start with three wins from their opening three games, and with Lukaku coming back from the international break firing on all cylinders, they could well be in for a successful second month too.
Lukaku has all the tools to fire United to glory this season, and he will definitely fancy his chances of getting himself into double figures before the end of the month with the fixtures looking to be in his favour.
If he can continues as he is at the moment, there really could be no stopping him and Jose Mourinho as they look to bring the Premier League title back to Old Trafford once more.
