It is all change at Everton this summer, and after such a disappointing campaign last season; Everton fans here in the Football Transfer Tavern are eagerly awaiting life under Ronald Koeman.
Some big names have been linked with Everton since the ex-Southampton boss joined the club; a far cry from life under Roberto Martinez.
With good reason, a lot of attention has been placed on Everton’s incoming transfers this summer, as the Dutchman looks to rebuild the Toffees in his own image…but what of the Everton stars already at the club?
Who might we see facing the exit door at Goodison Park over the next few weeks?
With that, here are THREE Everton players that Ronald Koeman needs to axe before Transfer Deadline Day
Aiden McGeady

YouTube football fans here in the Football Transfer Tavern kept telling the other punters how good this fella was; but Aiden McGeady has been a flop at Goodison Park over the last few years.
Not even a few compilation clips could save the winger, as he failed to nail down a regular first team spot with the Toffees and was subsequently sent out on loan earlier this year.
He isn’t going to be a starter going forward, and Koeman would be wise to sell McGeady on before his value drops even more
Oumar Niasse

Where did it all go wrong for Niasse at Everton?
He looked like a top signing for The Toffees, but after several lacklustre performances last season his time at Goodison Park needs to come to an end.
He recently wasn’t given a squad number as Everton revealed their squad numbers for the coming season, a suggestion that his departure is simply a formality going forward.
It is definitely a shame, but Niasse must leave this summer.
Romelu Lukaku

This one is sure to be met with a string of boo’s here in the Football Transfer Tavern, but the only way is out for Romelu Lukaku this summer.
On a basic level, Lukaku clearly wants to leave the club; and it is no use keeping an unhappy player at a club in the modern game.
More importantly than that however, you just have to look at the fee that is being banded around to realise that Lukaku needs to be axed this summer.
Lukaku is a goalscorer, definitely – but beyond that he is technically not a great player. For a side build on technical brilliance, they could do so much better.
The club are looking at £50-60 million if they were to sell the player; and that is enough money to rebuild an entire side.
You only have to look at how successful Ronald Koeman was with Southampton’s sale funds to realise that not selling Lukaku would be a huge mistake.
