The Manchester United supporters here inside the Football Transfer Tavern are in a joyous mood after the team comfortably beat David Moyes’ struggling Sunderland 3-0.
A professional, efficient display from the Red Devils, United were imperious from start to finish and never let the Mackems into the game at any point.
One of the surprise decisions to emerge from today’s game was Mourinho deciding to start Luke Shaw at left-back, after what has seemingly been a bitter feud between the pair.
The Red Devils fans here in the Tavern simply do not get the beef between the two of them, with them all agreeing that the former Southampton defender has never really put a foot wrong.
Mourinho’s decision to start him today certainly caused a fracas here in the Tavern, but the majority of the punters were impressed with the England international’s performance in defence.
