It’s set to be all change at Manchester City with a new manager to be appointed and high profile departures expected. One player who could be on his way is former Manchester United striker Carlos Tevez.
Today’s Mail Online reports that Italian giants Juventus are ready to move for the Argentinean forward after Beppe Marotta, Juventus club’s sporting director, explained that either Tevez or Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuain are on the agenda this summer.
He said: “I have to say that Higuain is a bit younger and has a higher market value. Tevez on the other hand has a year left on his contract so maybe between the two, the Tevez deal is easier”
He added: “We are not the first to notice his quality and experience. He is a player with a big desire to rebuild his career. Nevertheless, he is owned by City and we have made no approach to them. It is obvious that even in the event of an agreement with the player, the club still has an important say.”
With Malaga boss Manuel Pellegrini all ready to arrive at City the 29-year-old could be one of the first players to leave under his new regime.
