Several Liverpool fans have been saying the same thing regarding Adam Lallana

Liverpool fans have been making a lot of noise in recent times after seeing their team head into the current two-week break for internationals sat at the top of the Premier League table.

Jurgen Klopp’s men were being tipped by many during the close season to challenge champions Manchester City for the title this term, and they have made a very fast start to suggest that they may well be up there come May. The Reds have won all four of their league games so far in getting past West Ham, Crystal Palace, Brighton, and Leicester City, and in conceding just one goal in that time and scoring nine, the Merseysiders look set for what could be a hugely successful campaign.

Thus, there have been many thrilled Liverpudlians up and down the country in recent times, several of whom have been reacting to a recent post from the club’s official Twitter handle, which notes four years to the day since Adam Lallana made his Reds debut.

The 30-year-old made the move to Anfield back in 2014 after impressing hugely at fellow top-flight side Southampton, and while he didn’t make a particularly great start to life on Merseyside, he certainly became a key player for Klopp’s side, not least in the 2016/17 season as they returned to the Champions League.

Overall, the England international has featured 141 times for the Reds and netted 21 goals in the process, but injuries have decimated his recent time at Anfield, to the point that he managed just 12 Premier League appearances for the club last season.

And several Liverpool fans took to Twitter to mark the four-year anniversary of Lallana’s debut, with many saying the same thing regarding the 30-year-old, namely that injuries have wrecked his time on Merseyside…
