Newcastle United supporters have been pretty downbeat in recent times after seeing their side suffer a third successive Premier League defeat last weekend.
Rafa Benitez’s men went into their clash with North London giants Arsenal off the back of losses at the hands of Chelsea and Manchester City, thus leaving them with just one point from their opening four games. And they remain with only one point to their name as goals from Granit Xhaka and Mesut Ozil set Unai Emery’s side on their way to victory, as although Ciaran Clark got one back for the hosts late on, it wasn’t enough to inspire a comeback from the Magpies.
As such, there have been many frustrated and despondent Newcastle fans up and down the country in recent times, several of whom have taken to Twitter to speculate upon what changes, if any, Benitez may seek to make for the trip to Crystal Palace on Saturday.
The Eagles got back to winning ways in beating Huddersfield Town in their most recent league encounter, thus suggesting that they will be full of confidence ahead of the visit of Benitez’s side to Selhurst Park this weekend.
Thus, the North East heavyweights will have to be at their best to get anything from their trip to the capital, and many Magpies fans have been having their say on who Benitez should and should not start against Roy Hodgson’s side on Saturday.
And winger Jacob Murphy, who signed from Norwich City in the summer of 2017, is one man several don’t want anywhere near the starting eleven this weekend…
