Sheffield Wednesday take on Manchester City this evening in what is a pretty daunting task for the Owls in the FA Cup fifth round.
Of course, there was a time in the past where this fixture would have been seen as more than winnable by the Owls but thanks to City’s growth over the last decade or so, they are now miles apart.
Even so, the old cliche is that the cup is a great leveller, and the Owls get their chance to show that they’ve got quality and the ability to hurt the English champions tonight.
However, home form has not been great this season for Wednesday and that is something that they need to contend with this evening, as well as the obvious quality that the away side possess.
Ahead of the game, Garry Monk has had this to say:

To which Owls fans have responded to in rather derisory manner:

Did he say that with a straight face?

I glad someone has belief in them. Personally I wouldn’t trust them to cross a road on their own!
