Sheffield Wednesday were on course for a good win at Derby County last night but a late goal for the Rams left the Owls leaving Pride Park with just a point.
The men from Hillsborough look like they could be play-off contenders for the duration of the season this year in the Sky Bet Championship but dropping points like they did last night is a habit that they cannot afford to get into too often.
Wasting too many chances, the Owls eventually lost their lead against the home side and will now have to dust themselves down before facing the other side from the East Midlands rivalry this weekend; Nottingham Forest.
Garry Monk, meanwhile, reflected on the point as a good one despite them having enough of the play in the opening exchanges to really win the game and put it to bed.
Naturally, these comments have not gone down well with Owls fans, then, so let’s take a look at the best of what has been said on social media in response to that:

And you’d took the main striker off by then of course!?

Shouldn’t be seeing it as a good point.

Defending leads rarely work out.. Best form of defence is attack, keeping them on the back foot..
