Sheffield Wednesday earned a much-needed victory yesterday to snap a run of six games without a win.
The Owls have endured a torrid run in recent weeks after being in the top six, however, the victory against Bolton not only helps them climb up the Championship table, but keeps manager Jos Luhukay in a job for now.
However, although fans will be delighted with the victory, they have taken to Twitter to show their dissatisfaction with the performance. Tom Lees’ headed goal from a corner was enough to separate the two sides, but it was a game with only two shots on target between the teams.
The Owls’ supporters have once again criticised Luhukay’s defensive approach, which is not for the first time this season. The fans were particularly put out by the first half performance by their team, describing the match as ‘hard to watch’.

That was hard to watch at times. I counted none, zero shots on target in 94 minutes, maybe I missed one. I suppose the only thing that matters is Yom Lees heading home and 3 points. That was poor. When Penny was off, Reach was the natural choice for LWB, but no. FF why???
