Sheffield Wednesday fans have taken to Twitter to react to the news that goalkeeper Cameron Dawson has been announced as Player of the Month for November at the club.
The Owls only managed one win throughout the entire month, as they plummetted down the table. However, they did record their first two clean sheets of the season of the season, in which Dawson can be thanked for- particularly his penalty save against bitter rivals Sheffield United at Bramall Lane.
However, fans have used this news to attack their team, highlighting that it says something about a team when the goalkeeper is the Player of the Month. Moreover, the fans criticised the quality of the players that are in front of Dawson, which is forcing him to pull off so many saves.
The fans have primarily used this news to continue their tirade towards manager Jos Luhukay, who they are growing increasingly tired of.
This is what the fans had to say:

A little perplexed by this but he’s certainly been one of the busiest players during November!!
Not the breaking news we are ALL waiting for but still got fingers, toes and eyes crossed all day in anticipation— Matthew Johnson (@mattjohns1978) December 3, 2018
