Sheffield Wednesday shared an injury update from manager Darren Moore on their official Twitter page on Wednesday morning.

And the latest news had several Wednesday supporters talking on social media.

The Owls fell to a 3-0 defeat to Plymouth Argyle in the FA Cup on Tuesday night, with Moore only naming just six of a possible nine substitutes.

Over 1,000 Wednesday fans made the long trip for the replay, but two goals from Jordon Garrick and one from Ryan Hardie ensured another heavy defeat in Devon to Ryan Lowe's side.

Marvin Johnson was one who missed the meeting at Home Park, whereas Dennis Adeniran had to be withdrawn in the first half.

Moore admitted that both would miss Saturday’s League One clash with Accrington Stanley, whereas striker Lee Gregory is also a doubt.

Wednesday fans react

Wednesday’s official Twitter post regarding the injury problems resulted in these fans giving their thoughts, with one ‘worried’ at Moore.

“Losing faith in the bloke rapidly. At least with Monk, he seemed to play players to suit their best position.”

Don’t come with the “balance” excuse! You have a winger playing CB - Patterson playing CB - You picked the team! The more he talks the more I get worried!! injuries aside he doesn’t know his best team or formation which is scary!

“Not good enough teams with smaller budgets and smaller crowds doing much better than Wednesday why?”

“We desperately need to improve our ground. Even if it means moving to a different location just like Leicester. This injury crisis will not help with our promotion chances let alone give extra ammunition for the DM-Outers”
