Liverpool fans have been seriously impressed by Dejan Lovren’s recent form

It’s been a pretty wonderful year for Liverpool. Though they weren’t able to finish the season with a Champions League medal, the Reds made some serious progress under Jurgen Klopp, and with Naby Keita and Fabinho now at the club, they’re only going to get better.

Many of Liverpool’s players have gone to the next level over the last few months under Klopp, and that’s certainly the case for Dejan Lovren.

During his early days at Anfield, he was largely seen as a comical figure, with mistakes and shocking errors a feature of his game on a near-weekly basis.

However, particularly towards the end of last season, he turned a corner, and he’s continued that upward turn-up in form this summer, too. He’s been a regular for Croatia at the World Cup, and he was very impressive for Croatia against England on Wednesday as they knocked the Three Lions out of the cup.

Liverpool supporters have clearly been very impressed with the divisive 29-year-old, as many of them have taken to Twitter to discuss his form. Liverpool posted on their official Tweet to congratulate Lovren, and in response, fans have been showing him their support.
