An array of Man City fans are in the Transfer Tavern today and they are discussing who they think their team could not live without.

Pep Guardiola has so many phenomenal players at his disposal that it is difficult to pick out certain players in particular who really stand out.

Ever since their takeover in 2008, City have had some fantastic players some of whom still act as great servants to the club today.

Even some of the fresher faces at The Etihad have made such an impact in their short time at the club, that it is hard to imagine City without them.

Whether it is their experience, their leadership or their contribution on the pitch, there are a few players that are crucial to the Sky Blues.

Kevin De Bruyne

Chelsea will still be kicking themselves for this one. Just one full season after joining Wolfsburg, Kevin De Bruyne was back in the Premier League and what a signing he was.

In the two years, he has been a Manchester City player De Bruyne has become one of the best midfielders in the world and aged just 26 he still has plenty of years ahead of him.

It honestly is difficult to see City without him at this point.

Sergio Aguero

Now in his sixth year at the club, Sergio Aguero will undoubtedly go down as a Manchester City legend.

His goal against QPR to snatch the title away from arch rivals Manchester United will go down in Premier League history, and the striker has still got it.

At 29, the Argentinian still has a few years left in the tank and even when he was dropped for Gabriel Jesus last season, he took his chance at being back in the squad when it came his way,

A natural born goal scorer whom City could not live without.
