Our Leeds fans here in the Transfer Tavern can’t wait for the international break to be over so their side can continue their promotion charge.
You can understand why, too, after a great weekend for them both at Elland Road and with results elsewhere.
After they saw the likes of Sheffield Wednesday, Fulham and Newcastle all drop points they put Brighton to the sword and won 2-0 in a game that really cemented their play-off chances.
They’ll be keen to get back to work once the internationals are over, then, whilst they’ll also be anxious to see that their players who are away come back unscathed.
Indeed, one such man is going to be Liam Cooper after he was called up to the Scotland squad following the withdrawal of Grant Hanley – as confirmed on the Scottish FA’s Twitter account:

The news, then, has created quite a discussion and, whilst Leeds fans are largely congratulatory in light of it, some Scotland fans aren’t so sure.
