The Liverpool fans were celebrating in the Transfer Tavern last night following their sides fantastic 3-0 victory over Stoke City at the Bet365 Stadium.
Jurgen Klopp’s side kept pace with their Premier League rivals by securing three points in a game that could have gone in favour of the Potters on another day. Liverpool took the lead in controversial circumstances after Joe Gomez narrowly kept the ball in play on the Stoke City byline. The Stoke City supporters were incensed as Gomez pulled the ball back for Dominic Solanke who laid the ball on to Sadio Mane to dink the ball over the onrushing Lee Grant.
Stoke City later had chances to equalise as former Liverpool employee Joe Allen missed two golden opportunities inside the penalty area.
