While Liverpool are looking strong all over the park, their most obvious strength clearly lies in their devasting frontline. Indeed, even with Mo Salah looking somewhat off the pace, Jurgen Klopp’s side look as if they can punish any team going forward, such is their depth.
That much was clear during the Reds’ last outing, the 3-2 defeat of Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League. With Roberto Firmino unable to start after a gruesome looking eye injury picked up against Tottenham, Klopp opted to hand Daniel Sturridge his first Champions League start in six years for the visit of the Parisians.
The England international duly took his chance and headed the opener at Anfield, before Firmino grabbed a dramatic late winner.
As a result, in his press conference prior to tomorrow’s visit of Southampton, Klopp even hinted the pair could play together, giving Liverpool yet another option in an attack.
With that in mind, here’s a look at how Liverpool fans reacted to the concept, with some even calling for Sturridge to REPLACE Sadio Mane up front.

Lol lol this would be a problem, because one of them would have to go to the side… And it never worked before.
