Southampton: Fans applaud Moussa Djenepo during Chelsea encounter
Many Southampton fans showed their appreciation towards winger Moussa Djenepo during his side’s 1-1 draw against Chelsea on Saturday lunchtime.
The 22-year-old made his 12th start of the season on the right-hand side for Ralph Hasenhuttl’s team, who managed to break their recent losing streak.
Djenepo impressed for the Saints due to his work rate and his willingness to win his battles on the wings and get his side on the front foot.
Per Fotmob, the Mali international won 13 duels, completed three successful dribbles, three ball recoveries and even made two tackles.
