Southampton threw away three points against Manchester United on Sunday, and Moussa Djenepo struggled as the Red Devils staged their comeback.
The Saints were 2-0 up at half-time after Jan Bednarek had opened the scoring and James Ward-Prowse struck a brilliant free-kick. However, after the break, Bruno Fernandes scored to halve the deficit before turning provider for Edinson Cavani. Then, the latter scored in the last minute to give United the three points.
Playing on the left-wing, Djenepo was far from at his best. He completed just 68% of his passes and gave away three fouls, while also giving away possession on no less than 17 occasions. Ralph Hasenhuttl even decided to take him off in the second half.
Was Moussa Djenepo Southampton's worst performer vs United?
Yes
No
The Southampton fans, clearly angry that their side had given away a two-goal lead, were far from happy with his performance, and they took to social media platform Twitter to share their anger.

Had to be Djenepo, he’s been poor today. A few flashes of what he can do but so many mistakes and wrong choices #saintsfc
