Manchester City supporters in the Transfer Tavern have taken to Twitter to wish their best for Sergio Aguero.
Our resident Manchester City supporters in the Transfer Tavern have taken to Twitter to wish Argentine striker, Sergio Aguero, the very best of luck with his recovery having been involved in a car accident.
The 29-year-old was in Amsterdam watching a Colombian singer perform, and on the way to the airport, the taxi that Aguero was travelling in had crashed into a pole. Consequently, the striker has endured a broken rib.
Early reports suggest that Manchester City’s forward will be absent due to the injury for two to four weeks.
The news serves as a bitter disappointment for our resident City supporters considering that the striker had started the new season in fine form. Sergio Aguero has scored six goals and registered three assists in the Premier League this season.
Here are the best responses on Twitter!

Glad you're in one piece, hope others in car are okay too. Heal quick, I want to see that record broken in 2017!

Come back stronger and take that record. It’s your destiny. Nice to hear you say ‘home’ and ‘Manchester’ in one sentance #MCFC
