This month’s Football Transfer Tavern competition involves you proving you’re the biggest fan of your respective club.
So far this month we’ve had the following fanatics:
– A Stoke City fan who hasn’t missed a game, home or away, for 23 years
– A Manchester City fan who volunteers to wash the players kits (much to his wife’s dismay)
– A Chelsea fan who has collected every single match day programme from 1963
– A Tottenham Hotspur fan who has the club’s badge tattooed bang smack in the middle of his forehead – honestly, what an idiot
– A Newcastle United fan who missed his own wedding to go see them defeat Manchester United 5-0 in 1996
Those are probably the top/worst (depending on your viewpoint) five but, for me, this customer’s passion for the Red Devils wins the competition and takes home the tavern trophy.
