Liverpool have enjoyed an excellent Premier League season so far, and are well in the hunt for Champions League qualification.

Often this season, Brendan Rodgers men have swept teams aside, especially at Anfield (and White Hart Lane).

So much so in fact, that it has often looked like a case of men against boys, with the SAS scoring goals for fun.

But Sunday’s trip to West Bromwich Albion looked like another case of men against boys – literally.

Steven Gerrard and co looked as if they were lining up to take on a team of mascots at The Hawthorns on Sunday afternoon, which may have proved to have been their second easiest three points of the season (apart from the trip to White Hart Lane).

Eventually, West Brom’s senior side showed up and played out a 1-1 draw – much to the disappointment of poor old Kolo Toure.
